California: Boxer Campaign Raises Additional $2 Million

Sen. Barbara Boxer (D) raised $2 million in the most recent campaign finance reporting period, her re-election campaign announced.

Boxer, who is seeking a fourth term, had $9.6 million in cash on hand May 19 after raising $2 million in the previous seven weeks.

Her campaign said the fundraising figures show Boxer is “gaining momentum as the general election approaches.”

All Senate candidates in California, including Republicans Tom Campbell, Chuck DeVore and Carly Fiorina, must file updated campaign reports with the Senate’s public records office by Thursday.

Those will be the last major campaign reports filed before the June 8 primary.
