Senate Democrats to Meet on Strategy, Messaging

Senate Democrats are scheduled to meet behind closed doors Wednesday afternoon to discuss political strategy and messaging, according to Democratic sources.

The private caucus comes on the heels of President Barack Obama’s prime-time Oval Office speech to the nation to address the oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico. The meeting is schedule to occur from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m.
