Biden to Visit Gulf Coast on Thursday

Vice President Joseph Biden will travel to Alabama on Thursday to asses the latest oil spill cleanup efforts, the White House announced Wednesday.

Biden is scheduled to visit a staging facility in Theodore and later meet with Gulf fishermen and small-business owners affected by the spill. He will also deliver comments to the press in the early afternoon. This will be Biden’s second trip to the region since the spill started on April 20.
