Mourners will pay respects to former Sen. Ted Stevens (R-Alaska) on Tuesday at the All Saints Episcopal Church in Anchorage, Stevens’ family announced Thursday.

The public visitation will precede funeral services Wednesday at Anchorage Baptist Temple.

Senate aides from both parties said a large contingent of Senators is expected to travel to Alaska next week, although details were unavailable.
Stevens, 86, died this week in a plane crash in rural Alaska.

Stevens’ family has asked that well-wishers make donations to the North to the Future Foundation.
