Speaker Nancy Pelosi will be taking a night off from campaigning this weekend to hobknob with celebs in Washington.

The California Democrat is scheduled to attend the National Italian American Foundation’s 35th Anniversary Awards Gala at the Washington Hilton. Pelosi will be joined by actor Danny DeVito, former Major League Baseball all-star Mike Piazza and E! News host Giuliana DePandi Rancic, as well as other stars.

Pelosi won’t be the only political type in the crowd. Supreme Court Justice Samuel Alito, retired Marine Corps Gen. Peter Pace and Italian Ambassador Giuliomaria Terzi di Sant’Agata will be among the 3,000 guests expected to attend the black-tie gala.
