Rep. Loretta Sanchez could soon have a special someone posing alongside her on her famous Christmas card.

Rumors are swirling that the California Democrat could soon be walking down the aisle. We’ve received multiple tips that Sanchez recently became engaged to her boyfriend, retired Army Col. Jack Einwechter.

Sanchez’s office has yet to return our request for comment, but one tipster tells HOH that the happy couple plan to tie the knot in the spring.

If the rumors prove true, November could be a big month for Sanchez, who won re-election last week after a tough challenge from her Republican opponent, Van Tran.

Sanchez, 50, was previously married for 14 years to stock broker Stephen Brixey; the couple split in 2004.

Loretta isn’t the only Sanchez sister whose personal life has made headlines. Her little sister, fellow California Democratic Rep. Linda Sánchez, married longtime love Jim Sullivan in April 2009, about a month before she gave birth to their son, Joaquin Sánchez Sullivan.
