Coons Taps Daschle Veteran for Chief of Staff

Sen. Chris Coons has selected as his chief of staff a former communications director to Senate Majority Leader Tom Daschle (D-S.D.) and Sen. Patty Murray (D-Wash.), his office has confirmed.

Todd Webster joins the Delaware Democrat’s office from his most recent job as CEO his own communications firm.

Before joining the Senate for the first time, he worked on then-Vice President Al Gore’s unsuccessful run for the presidency in 2000.
