The Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee sent a memo to House Democrats’ chiefs of staff detailing the new staff contacts in its political, finance, member services, direct marketing and online services, and research departments.

The memo, obtained by Roll Call, includes an eight-member finance department led by National Finance Directors Missy Kurek and Lindsey Melander and Deputy National Finance Director Bob Brennan. Courtney Sigmon will handle Washington, D.C., and political action committee finances, and Brian O’Donnell will handle member dues. Three regional finance directors are listed: Eric Dillon in the Midwest, Stella Ross in the West and Laura Rose in the South.

Kelly Ward, who previously led incumbent retention, will lead the seven-member political department. Under her are Campaign Director Travis Lowe, Targeting Director John Hagner and four regional political directors: Abigail Curran in the Northeast, Charles Kelly in the South, Lucinda Guinn in the West and Ian Russell in the Midwest. Jerah Smith will be political assistant.

The other three departments listed are smaller. Kevin McKeon will serve as director of research, and Policy Director Mike Ryan is listed under him. Taryn Rosenkranz is director of marketing and new media, and Beverly Gilyard is director of member services.

Some of the hires of new DCCC Chairman Steve Israel (N.Y.) on the memo were already public knowledge. Robby Mook, who handled independent expenditures for the committee during the 2010 cycle, is the DCCC’s executive director. Jennifer Crider will stay on as deputy executive director and communications director, and Marlon Marshall will be deputy executive director. Marshall was national field director at the DCCC during the 2010 cycle.

The one department missing from the list was communications, presumably because the committee is still hiring regional press secretaries.

The National Republican Congressional Committee announced its communications staff on Monday, adding six more spokesmen under Communications Director Paul Lindsay and Deputy Communications Director Joanna Burgos.

The DCCC memo also mentioned two upcoming events: a roundtable for chiefs of staff on Feb. 18 and finance director training on Feb. 25.
