Supporters of public broadcasting gather in the Hart Senate Office Building to lobby lawmakers to retain funding for the Public Broadcasting Service and National Public Radio. The House Rules Committee today will vote on a bill to defund NPR. House Majority Leader Eric Cantor (R-Va.) would then decide whether to bring the bill to the floor.
