HOH’s One-Minute Recess: White House Dinner, With Doggy Bags

HOH is expecting — even hoping for — some bad behavior at this weekend’s White House Correspondents’ Association Dinner. But the guests at Thursday night’s correspondents’ event are all but guaranteed to bite, paw and even relieve themselves in the bushes.

Pet-adoption advocates are hosting the White House Pet Correspondents Benefit, where up-for-adoption dogs of both parties will be in attendance to mingle with prospective owners.

The event features a host list of Washington notables and takes place at Art and Soul restaurant on Capitol Hill.

According to the invite, if the Obama’s dog, Bo, or the Biden’s new rescue pup, Champ, make an appearance, “they will have a ball (or be thrown a ball) at this benefit.”
