DNC Takes On Romney’s Record

Ahead of Mitt Romney’s expected presidential campaign debut Thursday, the Democratic National Committee released a video portraying the Republican as politically inconsistent.

The former Massachusetts governor will formally announce his candidacy in New Hampshire at an afternoon barbecue. Romney, who ran for president in 2008, has been actively raising money since forming his exploratory committee last month and has in fact been positioning himself for a second White House campaign for the past three years.

The DNC video released Thursday morning contains a series of clips showing Romney both supporting and criticizing universal health care, the financial sector bailout, economic stimulus efforts and the auto industry bailout.
