Senate Democrats Relaunch Website

The Senate Democratic Conference has revamped its website in an effort to engage voters.

The new version of the official website includes live updates and daily summaries of Senate action, as well as a collection of press releases from Senators’ offices and a database of Senate vote data that stretches back to 1989.

“The new leadership site is a gold mine of legislative data,” said Adam Jentleson, chief spokesman for Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid.

The website also contains its own blog, where staffers will update visitors on what’s going on behind the scenes with new initiatives and long terms goals, and a collection of more than 500 videos produced by the Caucus to explain legislation.

In addition to the media created by the Caucus, the website includes a directory of each Caucus member with links to their Facebook, Twitter and YouTube pages.
