Man Accused of Threatening Boxer

A 47-year-old California man was arrested Saturday and accused of making death threats against Sen. Barbara Boxer (D-Calif.), the Associated Press reported Sunday.

Kevin Joseph O’Connell was arrested near his home in San Rafael, city police spokeswoman Margo Rohrbacher told the AP. He is scheduled for arraignment on state charges Tuesday.

The threats had been left on the voice mail at Boxer’s office.
