Heard on the Hill: Addicted to Angry Birds?
Looks like Sen. David Vitter (R-La.) is the latest to jump on the Jobs bandwagon.
Steve Jobs, that is.
The Senator has recently been spotted stalking the halls of the Capitol and the Hart Senate Office Building with an iPad 2, joining the Mac Member ranks that include Sen. Claire McCaskill (D-Mo.) and Reps. Darrell Issa (R-Calif.) and Jason Chaffetz (R-Utah).
Vitter spokesman Luke Bolar said the Senator has owned the iPad for about a month, primarily using it for staff memos.
Notarize and the Wall Street Journal are among Vitter’s favorite apps. But even he can’t resist the temptation of “Angry Birds,” which he “spends about three times as much time playing” as he does on other apps, Bolar said.
As long as it’s not on the Senate floor, right?
Those who aren’t in the House of Apple shouldn’t worry, though. Vitter remains true to his BlackBerry and the PC in his office.
