Capitol Lens: Dialed Into the Future

Apple’s next big iPhone event is today, and while it is unknown what product the company will reveal, I’m confident that it will be sleeker than the ‘it’ phone of 1996. Sens. John Warner (left) and Chuck Robb were among the cool guys giving interviews over Motorola flip phones following that year’s State of the Union address. At the time, the phone was hot because it was so small, but in reality, it was the size of a brick.
