DSCC Outraises NRSC in September

The Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee took the fundraising lead from Republicans in September, taking in $4.53 million.

The DSCC and National Republican Senatorial Committee announced their monthly totals in emails to reporters today. The NRSC raised $3.4 million in September, bringing its total to $30.6 million for the cycle. The committee will move forward with $6.8 million in cash on hand and no outstanding debt from 2010.

The DSCC has raised $33.2 million for the 2012 cycle and had $10.9 million in cash on hand. Its debt was not available, but it reported nearly $1.5 million in debt for August, according to campaign finance reports filed last month with the Federal Election Commission.
