Warren Campaign Dings Scott Brown With New T-Shirt

It’s a white T-shirt, but it’s the opposite of a white flag.

The campaign of presumptive Massachusetts Senate Democratic nominee Elizabeth Warren released its pick for an official campaign T-shirt today. It also marks the second time this week the campaign is publicly, if obliquely, knocking Sen. Scott Brown (R).

In an email blast to supporters, campaign manager Mindy Myers sent out the winning entry for a contest that she said included submissions from every county in the Bay State. “The best candidate money can’t buy,” the T-shirt reads, with the word “can’t” emboldened.

Earlier, the Warren campaign released an ad that implicitly hits Brown on being a longtime elected official.

But the snark in Massachusetts is bipartisan. Last month, when the contest began, the state GOP sent out its list of T-shirt ideas for Warren’s campaign.

They included: “Elizabeth Warren: You Got Yours, Now Give It to Me.” a play on her now-famous defense of liberal economic values, and “Professor Warren: Occupying Harvard Yard Since 1995,” a knock on her statement that she created “much of the intellectual foundation” for the Occupy Wall Street movement.
