The Campaign for Primary Accountability aired its second advertisement targeting Rep. Marcy Kaptur in her Ohio primary against fellow Democratic Rep. Dennis Kucinich.

The super PAC’s spot quotes a recent Kaptur ad in which the veteran Congresswoman says she “lives in the same house I grew up in, this one right here.”

“After 30 years in Congress, Marcy Kaptur says one thing, does another,” an announcer says in the super PAC’s ad. “Actually, Marcy Kaptur lives in this fancy condo in the Washington, D.C., suburbs.”

Kaptur’s campaign accused the Campaign for Primary Accountability of making “false claims” about the Congresswoman and noted her lawyers already contacted TV stations to ask them to pull the spot. A Kaptur spokesman said the lawmaker has “always lived in the same house” in Toledo, but he allowed she “has a condo” in D.C. because she works there.

Republicans redrew the state’s Congressional map last year after Ohio lost two seats because of lagging population growth. GOP mapmakers moved Kaptur and Kucinich into the same district spanning from west Cleveland to Toledo.

The super PAC, which targets incumbents in both parties all around the country, supports Kucinich in the March 6 primary.

Curtis Ellis, a spokesman for the super PAC, confirmed the ad buy is part of $116,00 that the group spent on television so far in the race, in addition to the $63,000 spent on mail targeting Kaptur.
