Space shuttle Discovery — atop NASA’s shuttle carrier aircraft, a modified Boeing 747 — makes one of several passes by the Capitol on Tuesday, ahead of the shuttle’s delivery to the Smithsonian’s National Air and Space Museum’s Udvar-Hazy Center in Chantilly, Va., where it will be on permanent display.
