DSCC Raised $7.4 Million in March

The Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee raised $7.4 million last month, leaving it with nearly $24 million in cash on hand as of the end of March.

Last month’s total bumped the committee up to $17.7 million raised from January through March, its best fundraising quarter ever, according to the committee.

“We have just concluded the most successful first quarter in the history of the committee and most of our candidates just broke records of their own,” DSCC Executive Director Guy Cecil said. “We have spent the cycle aggressively recruiting great candidates in open and Republican-held seats, our incumbents are building well-funded campaigns, and now donors are more enthusiastic than ever about the likelihood we will keep the majority.”

The National Republican Senatorial Committee has yet to release its March fundraising total, which is due to the Federal Election Commission on Friday.
