Sen. Tim Johnson Will Not Seek Re-Election

 
Sen. Tim Johnson (D-SD) will announce that he will not seek re-election in 2014, according to news accounts. His campaign committee reported having $1,235,390 cash on hand as of 12/31/12. His leadership PAC, South Dakota First reported having $203,888 as of 12/31. During 2011-2012 Johnson’s campaign raised $1,261,176 including $659,593 from PACs and other committees.
