PACs Sweeten Congressional Campaign Accounts

American Crystal Sugar Company PAC 
reported it gave out $152,500 in contributions to 42 members and accounts during March. The FARM TRUST (Freshman Agriculture Republican Members Trust) received $17,500. Thirteen members received $5,000 each, and twenty-eight received $2,500 each. The PAC has $871,505 cash on hand as of 3/31. In the 2011-2012 cycle, the PAC gave out $2.3 million to campaigns and committees. See PAC profile.

The Machinists Non Partisan Political League of the international Association of Machinists & Aerospace Workers 
reported it gave out $125,000 to federal candidates and committees during March. This included $5,000 to Elizabeth Colbert Busch for her special primary. The PAC also gave $100,000 to the Presidential Inaugural Committee, and $50,000 to the Democratic Governors Association. The PAC made charitable contributions to the Aerospace States Assn. $2,500; the Families & Friends of Missing Persons $5,000; and Goats for the Old Goat $5,000.
