Remainders: If You Got It, Flaunt It. Early.

If you got it, flaunt it. And in campaign fundraising, the best flaunt their numbers early.

There are several days yet until campaigns are required to file their first quarter fundraising reports with the Federal Election Commission. Typically, only campaigns with hauls worth bragging about release their figures early.

Here’s are the congressional campaign fundraising figures that caught our eye on Thursday:

Senate

House

  • NY-11: New York City Councilman Domenic M. Recchia Jr., raised  $412,000 and has $407,000 cash on hand, according to a press release from the Democrat’s campaign. He is challenging Republican Rep. Michael G. Grimm.
  • AZ-09: Rep. Kyrsten Sinema, D-Ariz., raised $333,000 and has “over $300,000” cash on hand, according to a press release.
  • IL-10: Democratic Rep. Brad Schneider raised $390,000. His cash on hand was not immediately available.

Emily Cahn, David Drucker and Kyle Trygstad contributed to this report.
