NRA PAC Sent Money to 23 Members of Congress & PACs in March

The National Rifle Association of America Political Victory Fund reported giving $51,000 to 23 members of Congress and PACs during March, in amounts ranging from $1,000 to $15,000. See the list. The PAC gave $15,000 the Majority Fund (a fund at the RNC) and $5,000 to the Blue Dog PAC (a group of conservative Democrats). The PAC gave $5,000 to Pete PAC, the leadership PAC of Rep. Pete Sessions, R-Texas. In other disbursements, the PAC gave $15,000 to the RNC Recount Fund, as well as some contributions to Illinois state candidates.

In 2011-2012 the PAC gave $1,156,637 to federal candidates and committees, with 88 percent going to Republicans. In addition, the PAC made $16.5 million in independent expenditures, including $12 million against Barack Obama and $2.2 million for Mitt Romney. See 2011-2012 PAC financial profile.
