Garcia Staffers’ Homes Raided by State Investigators

The home of a current staff member of 
Rep. Joe Garcia
, D-Fla., and that of his 2012 campaign manager were raided on Friday by the Miami-Dade state attorney’s office serving search warrants for computer equipment and other items. 
 

The investigation centers on improper absentee ballot requests during the 2012 primary elections. The investigators searched the homes of Giancarlo Sopo, Garcia’s director of communications, and John Estes, Rep. Garcia’s 2012 campaign manager.
