Leave your Bryce Harper jerseys at home for Tuesday’s Nats-Diamondbacks showdown. Supporters of Frager’s Hardware are encouraging attendees to sport the Capitol Hill store’s iconic blue and orange T-shirts instead.

Just weeks after smoke from the June 5 four-alarm fire engulfed Frager’s and darkened the skies above Nationals Park, a local family is treating employees to a night out at the ballpark.

Frager’s fans are encouraged to join the group in Section 320, where 40 seats have been reserved for employees, and perhaps raise a ballpark beer to the store’s recovery efforts.

A special recognition for the Pennsylvania Avenue landmark is scheduled for the bottom of the fourth inning.
