Monday Night Out — Deep Diving at the Black Cat With Tallhart

Monday night is the easiest night to stay in. Everyone is heading back to work. Venues close after busy weekends. It can also be one of the more rewarding to go out on the town.

There’s no pressure, there are few lines, and the mood is pretty relaxed — the perfect set of circumstances for discovery and pleasant surprise.

Perhaps to reward the Monday seeker, the Black Cat has what is likely to be a pretty interesting show tonight with Tallhart, a band whose aw-shucks-let’s-party vibe belies a deep lyrical and melodic repertoire.
