Facebook Gives $110,000 to Friends in Congress

The political action committee of Facebook Inc. has given $110,000 to members of Congress and their political committees since the beginning of the year.

Facebook Inc. PAC reported it gave $110,000 to the political committees of 40 members of Congress. The amounts ranged from $1,000 to $5,000. Recipients included $5,000 to Speaker A. John Boehner, R-Ohio; $5,000 to the campaign of House Majority Leader Eric Cantor, R-Va.; $5,000 to  Searchlight Leadership PAC, the PAC of Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, D-Nev.; among others.
