Senate Democrats Hire More Campaign Staff | Shop Talk

The Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee announced Friday two staff changes for the 2014 cycle.

Ben Nathanson will be the DSCC’s new policy director, and the committee promoted Matthew Kehres to digital director. More about their new gigs:

  • Nathanson leaves the Senate Democratic Policy and Communications Center, known on Capitol Hill as the caucus’s  “war room.” While working there, he specialized in health, education and labor policy. Nathanson is also a veteran of the Peace Corps.
  • Kehres served as the DSCC’s deputy digital director last cycle. He has similar experience from the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee and Hillary Rodham Clinton’s presidential campaign. He replaces Jason Rosenbaum, who is now at Google.
