Congressman to Jump for Military Families

USA Today reports that Rep. Joe Wilson plans to jump out of a plane tonight — willingly: “The South Carolina Republican, 66, will tandem jump from an airplane with members of the All Veterans Parachute Team at an entertainment event in Sumter, S.C., for military families.”

“The event is part of the ‘Salute our Troops’ campaign that has raised $1.5 million this summer, and $5.67 million since 2011, to support military families.”
