Atlas Brew Works, Heading to a Nats Game Near You

New brewery on the block Atlas Brew Works continues to make its way into District taps, its latest coup coming with the beer-happy Nationals Park.

The Ivy City brew crew tweeted out today that their District Common, Atlas’ smooth lager, will be poured at Nats Park’s Red Porch for the rest of the season. “Great beer for baseball!” they tweeted and on this one, we agree. The chill-and-have-another character of District Common is a pretty good accompaniment to the nation’s pastime.

Other local craft brewers welcomed the new kids aboard — Port City Brewing Co. tweeted huzzahs to brethren Atlas, DC Brau, 3 Stars Brewing and Mad Fox Brewing: “More local beer at # Nationals! Bring it on! Keep the streak alive Nats!”

Just a couple months ago, Port City, DC Brau, Mad Fox and 3 Stars got their own District Drafts kiosks at Nats Park, offering the local set’s wares to the crowds.
