‘Inside Edition’ Hunting for D.C.’s Sexiest Dude

Feminists, rejoice!

“Inside Edition” has turned the tables on televised toplessness, training its full tabloid resources on finding ultra-toned dudes here in the D.C. metro area.

Sadly, no one from Capitol Hill — nary a single pretty boy from all those “most beautiful” lists is involved — or government service in general (we’re looking at you, administration heartbreaker Reggie Love) tossed his hat tank top into the ring to vie for “D.C.’s Sexiest Bachelor.”

But show publicist Irene Rogers told HOH that one of the 14 finalists is a “mentalist who also has political aspirations.” (MindReader2016?)

Some of the other contenders — the whole bunch of ’em will be on display at Vida Fitness (1612 U St. NW) Wednesday at 2 p.m. for media interviews/show taping — include: a NASA aide, an NFL player (hope this is not a case of a Redskins player skipping practice, because they obviously need it), a professor at the University of the District of Columbia, an attorney, and WUSA 9 reporters Dave Owens and Russ Ptacek.

The full roster of bachelors will be featured on Friday’s episode, airing on WUSA 9 at 3:30 p.m.; the winner will be announced Sept. 30.

There is no official prize, but there is “the title, Twitter fame and love from the ladies” that Rogers anticipates the national broadcast will bring.

This is the first time IE has searched for studs here in the District.

The show has, in past years, crowned “hottest bachelors” in Philadelphia, Dallas and Cleveland, competitions clinched by:
