A senior House member who says he will run for re-election in 2014, if his health permits, continues to lag far behind his 2012 election fundraising pace.

The campaign committee of Rep. Howard Coble, R-N.C., reported it had raised only $44,134 during the third quarter of 2013. The committee’s fundraising for the year shows receipts of $85,484, with over $60,000 of that coming from PAC contributions. The receipt total is down from the $134,076 raised in the first three quarters of 2011.

The committee’s 9/30 cash on hand is $54,910 – only a third of the $164,832 the committee had in the bank on 9/30/11.
