Former Rep. Gabrielle Giffords, D-Ariz., has terminated her congressional campaign committee and has transferred the remaining funds to her political action committee.

Giffords resigned from Congress on January 25, 2012, to focus on her recovery from a January 2011 shooting. Starting in December 2005, her campaigns raised over $10 million. View her career financial profile.

Giffords terminated her Giffords for Congress committee yesterday and transferred $297,703 in remaining funds to her PAC, Rights and Responsibilities PAC, formerly called Gabby PAC. She started her PAC in July 2012. The PAC reported receipts of $29,108 in 2012. In 2013, the PAC reported receipts of $20,193 through 6/30, leaving $14,980 cash on hand as of 6/30.
