Conservative Super PAC Spends Against Steve Stockman

A week after a conservative U.S. Representative announced he is running for the U.S. Senate against an incumbent Senator of his own party, a conservative Super PAC is spending thousands of dollars against the challenger.

Texans for a Conservative Majority, a hybrid Super PAC founded by Randy Cubriel, a conservative lawyer/lobbyist in Texas, reported today to the Federal Election Commission that it paid $18,500 on 12/16 to Target Enterprises for production and placement of online advertising as independent expenditures against Rep. Steve Stockman, R-Texas. Stockman is running against Sen. John Cornyn, R-Texas.
