DoD’s Armed with Sciences blog highlights “the Fuel Efficient Ground Vehicle Demonstrator, also known as the Fed Alpha, is a lightweight aluminum chassis. It’s designed to accomplish all of the missions of the M1114 “up-armored” Armor Survivability Kit (ASK) FRAG 5 Humvee .”
