Is it wrong that we kinda dug the risqué enhancement rogue computer programmers unleashed on the Federal Depository Library Program homepage late last week?

</p> <p> A tipster noticed a disturbance in the Government Printing Office-run force, a rump-shaking hiccup <a href="https://freegovinfo.info/node/9014" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">online watchdogs</a> attributed to presumably Polish pranksters operating under the guise of “SoWa BeZ OkA.”  </p> <p> Another cyber-sleuth spotted a similar incursion — same digitized kitty, same Swedish pop soundtrack — executed against the Finnish government.  </p> <p><iframe width="445" height="334" src="//www.youtube.com/embed/aR51DBCcca8" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen=""/></p><script id="5e2bd50d2be64735bd9c6970a280aeab">(new Image()).src = 'https://capi.connatix.com/tr/si?token=9484058d-cb86-4c6b-b476-f5e62bd11798&cid=69ef7590-f88b-4a7b-b1ad-bbee64894f4f'; cnx.cmd.push(function() { cnx({ playerId: "9484058d-cb86-4c6b-b476-f5e62bd11798" }).render("5e2bd50d2be64735bd9c6970a280aeab"); });</script></p> <p> GPO spokesman Gary Somerset confirmed the FDLP site had been compromised, but assured HOH federal authorities were on it. “Once it was detected, GPO responded quickly to restore the site, mitigate risks and ensure the security of the system. There was no data loss or impact to any other GPO systems,” Somerset said of the temporary disruption. “As always, we are continuing to monitor the security of our systems against potential threats.”  </p> <p> Absent a <a href="https://phrack.org/issues/7/3.html" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">cryptic mission statement</a> , it’s tough to divine when or where SoWa BeZ OkA might strike next.  </p> <p> Then again, this could all just be a ploy by performance artist Mats Söderlund, aka Günther, to celebrate the 10-year anniversary of his break-out hit, “Ding Dong Song (You Touch My Tralala).”  </p> <p><iframe width="445" height="250" src="//www.youtube.com/embed/9_OmSaMmpyk" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen=""/></p> <p> We’re tempted to enter the “<a href="https://www.facebook.com/gunthermusic/posts/10152536809467512" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Win a Date with Günther</a> ” contest (ends Aug. 31) just to put the screws to him about it.</p> <p></body>
