Crossroads GPS, a GOP group, bought $1 million in airtime Tuesday to target Rep. Steven Horsford, D-Nev., an incumbent who was not considered vulnerable until now. The group is spending somewhere around $900,000 to $1 million against the first-term Democrat — a sum confirmed by two Democratic sources who track media buys. The buy includes broadcast and cable in the Las Vegas market and a nominal sum, $2,000, on Reno cable.

Nevada’s 4th District is race is rated Safe Democratic by the Rothenberg Political Report/Roll Call.
