McConnell: ‘Laughable’ to Think Hillary Clinton Represents Change

Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell said it was “laughable” to think Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Rodham Clinton represented a “change” from President Barack Obama at his weekly news conference Tuesday, saying she “represents the views” and was a part of the Obama administration and its policies.

“If the American public is happy with where we are at home … and if they’re comfortable with America’s current position of influence around the world, then maybe Secretary Clinton will win,” McConnell said.

As for the Republican presidential nominees?

“We’ve got a great bunch,” McConnell added.
