Congressional Yogi Association Flexes Some Muscle

Dozens of staffers — and at least one particularly limber lawmaker — Friday helped the fledgling Congressional Yogi Association get off on the right foot.

The inaugural “Yoga on the Hill ” session, originally envisioned as an outdoor spectacle , wound up taking place in the Cannon Caucus Room due to the uncooperative weather. House Democratic aide and event organizer Hannah Kim told HOH Reps. Charles B. Rangel, D-N.Y., and Barbara Lee, D-Calif., addressed the assembled health enthusiasts, while mindfulness advocate Tim Ryan, D-Ohio, threw himself into the group workout.
