Around the Hill: A Day Among the Cherry Blossoms

[jwp-video n=”1″]

Each spring the nation’s capital explodes in the vibrant white and pink hues of the cherry blossom trees. While the main attraction is the Tidal Basin and the hundreds of trees that ring it, many visitors are pleasantly surprised to find an assortment of blossoms decorating the Capitol grounds. Roll Call videojournalist Andrew Satter captured the beauty of the blossoms around the Capitol, starting in Upper Senate Park and making his way around the front of the building to the House side.
