ABC News Chief White House Correspondent Jon Karl badgered White House Press Secretary Josh Earnest Tuesday over comments President Barack Obama made on the threat posed by climate change and terrorism in a recent interview with Vox. Obama told Vox’s Matthew Yglesias the media “absolutely” overstates the alarm people should have about terrorism compared to climate change and disease. Earnest said the “terror risk that faces the American people is much different than it used to be” due to actions taken by Obama and by the George W. Bush administrations.
