Democratic presidential candidate and former Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton is scheduled to attend the July 14 Senate Democratic caucus lunch, a senior Democratic aide told CQ Roll Call. It is one of several meetings with congressional Democrats Clinton is expected to hold while in Washington, D.C., next week.

But the visit with her former Senate colleagues, a good number of whom have already endorsed her presidential bid, is interesting because another person seeking the Democratic nomination in 2016, Sen. Bernard Sanders, I-Vt., caucuses with the Democrats and serves as their ranking member on the Budget Committee.
