Speaker Paul D. Ryan, R-Wis., will cross the Capitol to be a guest at the Senate Republican Conference lunch Tuesday, according to a source familiar with the plan.

Ryan is in his first full week as speaker and will have plenty of discussions with the Senate before the end of the year, particularly with the existing continuing resolution expiring Dec. 11.
