Senate Minority Leader Harry Reid struck an optimistic tone in discussing a year-end spending bill with reporters Tuesday, saying he “feels good about the omnibus.”“We started with more than about 250 riders … and now we’re down … to about 100,” Reid said. “I was told yesterday by my counterpart that he and the speaker were going to send to us their batch of riders they felt were important. So we haven’t gotten those yet, when we get those we’ll start working through them.”
