Carter discussed defense issues with Belfer Center Director Graham Allison and answered questions from Harvard students at a Harvard Kennedy School JFK Jr. Forum on Tuesday, December 1 titled ‘A Conversation with Secretary of Defense Ashton B. Carter.'”  

“During the forum event, co-sponsored by Harvard’s Institute of Politics and the Belfer Center, Allison asked Secretary Carter about topics ranging from ISIL and China to the future of the Department of Defense. Carter also took questions from an overflow audience of students and faculty. The event was a homecoming for Carter, who is a former Kennedy School professor and Belfer Center director.”
