Rep. Mike Thompson announced on the House floor Monday that Democrats have filed a discharge petition on a bill that would ban individuals on the FBI’s no-fly list from purchasing firearms. “If House Republicans are concerned about the accuracy of the list, let’s scrub the list,” Thompson said. “If you agree that terrorists shouldn’t be able to have guns, then put your name down in writing and let’s have a vote.”
