Claire McCaskill Reports for Jury Duty

Sen. Claire McCaskill, D-Mo., kept constituents entertained on Monday when she was called in for jury duty.  

Around 9 a.m. Missouri time, she tweeted photographs of her arrival to the jury assembly room and said it is on her bucket list to serve as a juror.

The senator appeared quite bored as she tweeted about the positives of sitting near an outlet, knitters in the room and juror compensation. She kept Twitter followers updated as other names were called to go into the courtroom. Roughly an hour in, she wrote, “This is gonna get interesting. TV in the room where we're waiting. Someone for the remote. Now what channel? #pleasegodnotfoxnews.”  Someone responded to this tweet that she should take the remote and McCaskill wrote, “Are you crazy? No way I want the remote. I work for these people...”
