When Prime Minister Justin Trudeau comes to D.C., Canadian stars follow, particularly the Grammy winning Abel Tesfaye. Otherwise known as The Weeknd, Tesfaye and his infamous haircut made an appearance outside the Renwick Gallery at 1661 Pennsylvania Ave, NW on Wednesday night.

On Thursday, President Barack Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama will welcome Trudeau and his wife, Sophie Grégoire Trudeau, to the White House for a State Dinner.

Obama and Trudeau will have a bilaterial meeting at 10:05 a.m., followed by a joint press conference at 11:40 a.m. According to Canada 2020 , the Canadian delegation, senators and members of congress were also in attendance at the Renwick.

Tesfaye was born in Toronto and his hit songs include "Can't Feel My Face" and "the Hills."   Two days ago, Trudeau stole American’s hearts, if he hadn’t already, when he posted on instragram photographs of himself at the Toronto Zoo holding panda cubs.
