The event will benefit the Young Survival Coalition, which raises funds and awareness for young women with breast cancer.

Tickets are on sale for $10 and the game will take place at the Watkins Recreation Center, 420 12th St. S.E.. And, of course, the after party will be at H Street Country Club, 1335 H St. S.E.

This year’s roster is not yet set, but last year spectators saw Sens. Kelly Ayotte, R-N.H., Kirsten Gillibrand, D-N.Y., Shelley Moore Capito, R-W.V., and Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz, D-Fla., light up the diamond. The member’s team won 1-0.

The Bad News Babes had players from the New York Times, CNN, CBS, NPR, PBS, MSNBC, AP and Roll Call.
